Dust Aggregation

Dust Aggregation is a physical process in dusty plasmas wherein micron- or submicron-sized charged dust particles coalesce due to electrostatic and van der Waals interactions, distinguished from other plasma particulate phenomena by the dominant role of grain charging and collective non-neutral forces in enabling the formation of larger composite structures.
