Drb Sensitivity-inducing Factor

DRB Sensitivity-Inducing Factor is a regulatory protein complex within the broader category of transcription elongation factors that specifically mediates the recruitment of positive transcription elongation factor b (P-TEFb) to RNA polymerase II, thereby modulating transcriptional pausing and elongation in response to the inhibitory effects of 5,6-dichloro-1-β-D-ribofuranosylbenzimidazole (DRB).
