Disposition Of Collateral

Disposition of Collateral is a legal process within secured transactions whereby a secured party sells, leases, licenses, or otherwise disposes of collateral after default to satisfy the debtor’s obligation, distinguishing it from other remedies by its focus on the realization of value from the collateral rather than mere possession or enforcement of rights.
