Displacement Experiences

Displacement Experiences is a theoretical construct within transnational feminism that denotes the gendered, racialized, and socioeconomically inflected processes through which women and marginalized groups are uprooted from their homelands due to war, migration, or neoliberal globalization, distinguishing it from generalized migration studies by centering intersecting axes of identity and power in forced mobility.
