Direct Torque Control

Direct Torque Control is a control strategy for electric motor drives that belongs to the class of variable-speed drive methods and is distinguished by its direct manipulation of electromagnetic torque and stator flux linkage through hysteresis-based switching of the inverter voltage vectors without requiring pulse-width modulation or coordinate transformation.
