Dipole Radiation

Dipole Radiation is a type of acoustic radiation characterized by a pair of equal and opposite oscillating sources that generate a sound field predominantly due to the acceleration of a localized source distribution, distinguished from monopole or quadrupole radiation by its directional emission pattern and dependence on the first spatial derivative of the source strength.
