Diffusive Gas Emissions is a volcanic gas release process in which gases emanate gradually and non-eruptively from magma or volcanic systems through permeable pathways in the Earth's crust, distinguished from explosive or advective emissions by its continuous, low-velocity transport driven primarily by concentration gradients.
