Diffusionless Transformations
Diffusionless Transformation is a type of solid-state phase transformation in which the structural change occurs without the long-range diffusion of atoms, distinguished from diffusive transformations by the cooperative movement of atoms through shear or displacive mechanisms that preserve chemical composition and typically result in a non-equilibrium product phase.
