Diffraction Around Slender Bodies

Diffraction Around Slender Bodies is a wave diffraction phenomenon characterized by the bending and spreading of waves around narrow obstacles whose transverse dimensions are much smaller than the wavelength, enabling the propagation of wave energy into the geometric shadow region through localized interaction with the body’s small-scale geometry.
