Detector Simulation

Detector Simulation is a computational modeling technique used in particle physics that belongs to the class of simulation methodologies and specifically represents the process of emulating the response of a particle detector to charged particles, including energy deposition, signal generation, and electronic readout effects, in order to predict, analyze, and optimize detector performance under controlled virtual conditions.
