Designer-in-the-loop Optimization

Designer-In-The-Loop Optimization is an interactive computational optimization paradigm in which human designers actively and iteratively guide the search process through real-time feedback, distinguishing it from fully automated approaches by integrating domain expertise, intuition, and decision-making into the loop of generative or evolutionary design exploration.
