Design Fiction is a speculative design practice that uses diegetic prototypes and narrative artifacts to materialize and explore the cultural, social, and ethical implications of possible futures, distinguishing itself from other design approaches by embedding functional fictions within everyday contexts to provoke critical reflection and anticipatory discourse.
