Desertification Monitoring

Desertification Monitoring is a scientific framework within land surface monitoring that systematically assesses and detects the progressive degradation of arid, semi-arid, and dry sub-humid ecosystems into desert-like conditions through the integration of biophysical indicators, remote sensing data, and environmental metrics to distinguish anthropogenic and climatic drivers of land cover change.
