Deprovisioning
Deprovisioning is a security and identity management process that systematically removes or disables a user’s access rights and associated digital identities from systems, applications, and resources upon role changes or termination, distinguishing itself from provisioning and re-provisioning by focusing on the secure and timely termination of access to enforce least privilege and compliance in dynamic environments such as cloud and elastic infrastructures.
