Density-based Flow Visualization

Density-Based Flow Visualization is a flow mapping technique that encodes the intensity of movement or flow across a spatial domain by representing the aggregate volume or concentration of flows as spatial density, thereby distinguishing itself from other flow visualization methods through its emphasis on the spatial distribution and accumulation of flow magnitude rather than individual trajectory or origin-destination pairing.
