Delayed Discovery is a legal doctrine within the framework of statutes of limitations that permits the postponement of the accrual of a claim until the injured party discovers or reasonably should have discovered the injury or its cause, thereby distinguishing it from claims deemed time-barred under the standard accrual rules.
