Deformation Source Modeling

Deformation Source Modeling is a computational and geophysical approach that belongs to the class of inverse modeling techniques, in which the spatial, temporal, and mechanical characteristics of subsurface magma or fluid sources are inferred from observed surface deformation patterns obtained through geodetic data such as InSAR, GPS, or leveling.
