Debit Transfers is an electronic funds transfer mechanism that authorizes the withdrawal of funds directly from a payer’s financial account to settle a payment obligation, distinguished from credit transfers by initiating the transaction through the debiting of the payer’s account rather than crediting the recipient’s account.
