Cyclonic Vortex Formation

Cyclonic Vortex Formation is a mesoscale atmospheric process characterized by the development of a rotating low-pressure system in which the Coriolis effect induces counterclockwise (in the Northern Hemisphere) or clockwise (in the Southern Hemisphere) wind circulations that intensify through convergent inflow and vertical motion within synoptic or convective weather systems.
