Cyclic Polarization Testing

Cyclic Polarization Testing is an electrochemical corrosion testing method that involves repeatedly scanning the potential of a metallic sample in a corrosive environment from a cathodic to an anodic direction and back, distinguished by its ability to assess the reversibility of passivation and pitting behavior through the hysteresis loop in the polarization curve.
