Crystal Plasticity Modeling

Crystal Plasticity Modeling is a computational mechanics framework that predicts the anisotropic mechanical behavior of crystalline materials by explicitly accounting for plastic deformation mechanisms at the crystal lattice level, distinguished from other continuum plasticity models by incorporating crystallographic symmetry, slip system kinetics, and microstructural heterogeneity within a thermodynamically consistent formulation.
