Creditor Standing

Creditor Standing is a legal doctrine that determines whether a creditor has sufficient legal interest or right to initiate judicial proceedings or assert claims in relation to debtor insolvency or reorganization, distinguishing it from mere economic exposure by establishing the creditor’s formal entitlement to participate in creditor-protective mechanisms under insolvency law.
