Cracking In Slabs
Cracking in Slabs is a structural degradation phenomenon characterized by the formation of fractures within concrete slab systems due to restrained deformation, thermal gradients, shrinkage, or applied loads, distinguishing it from other forms of concrete distress by its occurrence in two-dimensional, horizontally dominant members subjected to flexural, tensile, or volumetric stresses.
