Cosmic Variance Estimation

Cosmic Variance Estimation is a statistical methodology used in observational cosmology to quantify the inherent uncertainty in measurements of the Cosmic Infrared Background arising from the finite volume of the observable universe, thereby distinguishing it from other sources of observational error by accounting for large-scale structure fluctuations as a fundamental limit to representativeness.
