Coronary Perforation

Coronary Perforation is a rare but serious iatrogenic complication, classified as a procedural adverse event, that occurs when there is an unintended disruption of the coronary artery wall during interventional cardiac procedures such as percutaneous coronary angioplasty, distinguished by the formation of an extravasation tract leading to potential cardiac tamponade or hemodynamic instability.
