Core Plug Saturation Analysis

Core Plug Saturation Analysis is a laboratory-based petrophysical method that determines the in-situ fluid saturation distribution within a small cylindrical rock sample (core plug) by quantifying the volume fractions of water, oil, and gas retained in the pore spaces, thereby providing direct measurements to calibrate well-log interpretations and reservoir fluid saturation models.
