Convolution-superposition Algorithms
Convolution-Superposition Algorithms is a dose calculation method in radiation therapy that belongs to the class of model-based algorithms and is distinguished by its use of convolution integrals to model the energy deposition from primary photons and a separate superposition step to account for tissue heterogeneities in the patient anatomy.
