Convergence Analysis

Convergence Analysis is a branch of numerical analysis in finite element methods that rigorously studies whether and how the discrete approximate solutions generated by a given finite element scheme approach the exact solution of the underlying boundary value problem as the discretization parameters are refined, typically by establishing sufficient conditions for convergence and deriving quantitative error estimates or rates.
