Contractual Renvoi is a conflict-of-laws doctrine whereby a forum court, when applying the choice-of-law rules of a foreign jurisdiction to a contractual dispute, respects that jurisdiction’s own private international law to determine whether the matter should be governed by another legal system, thereby incorporating foreign choice-of-law principles into the analysis.
