Containment Dynamic Load Analysis

Containment Dynamic Load Analysis is a computational and analytical method within containment safety analysis that characterizes the time-dependent structural and fluid dynamic responses of nuclear containment systems to abrupt energy releases, such as those from design-basis accidents or postulated explosions, by integrating transient loading conditions, material nonlinearities, and system boundary effects to assess integrity and performance under extreme events.
