Contact Lens Modality Selection

Contact Lens Modality Selection is the clinical decision-making process by which an appropriate type of contact lens wear—ranging from daily disposable, extended wear, reusable, or specialty modalities—is systematically chosen based on the pediatric patient’s ocular anatomy, visual needs, refractive error, lifestyle, and corneal health to optimize safety, comfort, compliance, and visual outcomes in pediatric contact lens management.
