Construction Automation

Construction Automation is a subfield of construction engineering and management that studies and applies automated and semi-automated systems—such as robotics, sensor- and model-based control, and algorithmic decision-support—to plan, monitor, and execute construction processes in place of or in coordination with manual operations, with the objective of improving productivity, quality, safety, and process reliability.
