Congruence Distributivity

Congruence Distributivity is a property of a variety of algebras in which the lattice of congruence relations on any algebra in the variety forms a distributive lattice, meaning that for any three congruences θ, φ, ψ, the equality θ ∧ (φ ∨ ψ) = (θ ∧ φ) ∨ (θ ∧ ψ) holds.
