Compression Load Transfer
Compression Load Transfer is a foundational mechanical process in structural engineering whereby axial compressive forces are transmitted from a superstructure to its supporting foundation through direct contact and material resistance, distinguishing it from other load transfer mechanisms by its reliance on compressive stress development within load-bearing elements.
