Composite Action Analysis

Composite Action Analysis is a structural analysis method that characterizes the integrated load-carrying behavior of composite bridge systems by accounting for the interaction between connected structural elements, such as steel girders and concrete slabs, through shear connectors, thereby enabling accurate determination of stress distribution, deflection, and overall system performance under applied loads.
