Complexin-Mediated Priming is a molecular mechanism in synaptic vesicle exocytosis that belongs to the class of vesicle priming processes, distinguished by the essential regulatory role of complexin proteins in stabilizing the SNARE complex in a fusion-competent state prior to calcium-triggered neurotransmitter release.
