Combat Improvisation
Combat Improvisation is a performance methodology within the academic domain of Fight Direction that involves the spontaneous generation of physically articulated combat sequences in real time, distinguished from choreographed stage combat by its reliance on adaptive, unscripted movement responses informed by theatrical intention, safety protocols, and embodied knowledge of historical and contemporary martial arts principles.
