Collateral Challenge
Collateral Challenge is a legal doctrine that permits a party to contest the validity of a judgment or administrative decision in a proceeding distinct from the original action, typically by arguing that the tribunal lacked jurisdiction or committed a jurisdictional error, where such challenge is not the primary purpose of the proceeding but arises incidentally to another substantive claim.
