Coiled-coil Dimerization

Coiled-Coil Dimerization is a structural motif in protein quaternary organization where two alpha-helical polypeptide chains wrap around each other in a supercoil, stabilized by characteristic heptad repeats with hydrophobic interactions at the interface, thereby mediating specific and stable protein-protein association.
