Cohesive Crack Models
Cohesive Crack Model is a fracture mechanics framework that belongs to the class of continuum-based damage models, distinguished by its incorporation of a cohesive zone law to represent the nonlinear material behavior and traction-separation relationship ahead of a crack tip, thereby enabling the simulation of crack initiation and propagation without predefining the fracture path.
