Cofactor-mediated Group Transfer
Cofactor-Mediated Group Transfer is a biochemical process in which a cofactor facilitates the transfer of a functional group between substrates by transiently binding and stabilizing the group during catalysis, thereby enabling specific and efficient transformation that distinguishes it from direct substrate-to-substrate transfer mechanisms.
