Code-based Wind Load Design

Code-Based Wind Load Design is a standardized engineering methodology within structural wind engineering that prescribes the determination of wind-induced forces on structures in accordance with established building code provisions, distinguished from alternative approaches by its reliance on codified, jurisdictionally mandated procedures and empirical data rather than site-specific probabilistic or computational models.
