Cloud-scale Turbulence

Cloud-Scale Turbulence is a physical phenomenon in astrophysical fluid dynamics characterized by chaotic, supersonic motions within interstellar molecular clouds, distinguished from other regimes of turbulence by its confinement to spatial scales of individual star-forming clouds and its dominant role in regulating cloud structure, dynamics, and star formation processes.
