Cloud Interior Turbulence is a theoretical construct in atmospheric science that characterizes the small-scale, chaotic fluid motions within the body of a cloud, distinct from boundary-layer or externally driven turbulence, by focusing specifically on the dynamics arising from internal thermodynamic inhomogeneities and microphysical processes.
