Cloud Heating

Cloud Heating is a physical process in astrophysics whereby molecular clouds gain thermal energy through mechanisms such as cosmic-ray ionization, ultraviolet radiation, and turbulence dissipation, distinguishing it from other energy transfer processes by its specific role in regulating the thermal state and dynamical evolution of interstellar gas.
