Cinematic Embodiment is a theoretical construct in film acting that refers to the actor's embodied performance as it is mediated, transformed, and reconstituted through cinematic technologies, distinguishing it from live or stage-based embodiment by its dependence on the camera, editing, and the material conditions of film production.
