Choroidal Vascular Layers

Choroidal Vascular Layers is a histological construct representing the stratified vascular networks within the choroid, distinguished by its organization into three contiguous yet functionally distinct vascular tiers—the anterior choriocapillaris, the mid-level Sattler’s layer, and the outermost Haller’s layer—each differing in vessel caliber, depth, and hemodynamic role in ocular perfusion.
