Chorismate Biosynthesis

Chorismate Biosynthesis is the metabolic process within the shikimate pathway that catalyzes the formation of chorismate, the common precursor to aromatic amino acids and other aromatic compounds, through the isomerization of 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate by the enzyme chorismate synthase.
