Charge-sensitive Amplifiers
"Charge-Sensitive Amplifier" is an electronic amplifier circuit belonging to the class of preamplifiers that converts an input charge pulse, typically from a radiation detector, into a proportional output voltage, distinguished by its high gain and feedback capacitor that makes the output voltage inversely proportional to the capacitance and directly responsive to the accumulated charge rather than the current magnitude.
