Characteristic Function Games

Characteristic Function Games is a formal model in cooperative game theory that specifies the value or payoff achievable by every possible coalition of players, where the characteristic function assigns to each subset of players the maximum utility they can generate by cooperating, distinguishing it from other solution concepts by fully defining group performance without specifying internal allocation mechanisms.
